کریس راک در مراسم اسکار
هفتاد و هفتمین مراسم اسکار در تاریخ 27 فوریه، در سالن کداک هاليوود برگزار خواهد شد و نامزدهای اسکار قرار است در تاريخ 25 ژانويه معرفی شوند.
امسال قرار است آکادمی اسکار از کریس راک برای اجرای مراسم استفاده کند. کریس راک برای اولين بار در فیلم پلیس بورلی هیلز 2 ظاهر شد ولی با مجموعه کمدی Bring The Pain در سال 1996 استعداد خودش را نشان داد و برنده جایزه امی شد. آخرین کار کریس راک بازی در فیلم The Longest Yard به همراه آدام سندلر می باشد و همچنين کارتون Madagascar که به جای یکی از شخصیت های آن صحبت کرده است و هر دو آنها در ماه مه 2005 به نمایش در خواهند آمد.
کریس راک در سال 2003 مراسم MTV Video Music Awards را اجرا کرده است و تا کنون برنده سه جایزه امی و دو جایزه گرمی برای کارهایش شده است و از فیلم های او می توان به Head of State، Bad Company، Down to Earth، Nurse Betty و Dogma اشاره کرد.
